Hi, Everyone! Today I’ll be showing you how to make Easter Graham Cracker Houses.
Peeps, or other marshmallow Easter candy (I’m using a dollar store peep knockoff)
Candies/sprinkles to decorate with
Step 1. Break the graham crackers into halves. You’ll need five halves and one whole cracker to make the houses.
Step 2. Pipe the icing onto the sides of the halves. Put it on two of the four sides.
Step 3. Put three of the halves together as shown….
Step 4. Now ‘glue’ the two halves that will be the roof together at an angle…
Step 5. Then carefully put the roof on. Now, DO NOT touch it for ten minutes. Otherwise all your hard work will fall in a heap. 🙁 I learned this by trial and error.
Step 6. After staring intently at your delicious creation-in-progress for a grueling ten minutes, pipe some frosting onto the whole cracker and place your house on top.
Step. 7. (yes, I know this has a lot of steps) Now you can decorate! Use Jellybeans, gumdrops, sprinkles, whatever you want to decorate the house. Be creative and have fun!
Step 8. The last thing to do is to glue your little peep/marshmallow thing in. (This should be pretty self-explanatory)
Ta-da! You’re done! Here is Ellie smiling at the camera and resisting the temptation to gobble both houses up in a matter of seconds. (Because, believe me, it’s tempting!)
Great job Natalie! 😀 You made me really hungry. 😉
